The Spa Experience in Bethnal Green

If you follow me on instagram you will have noticed that I am a huge advocate of self care. Recently I was invited to Spa Experience in Bethnal Green with Tanya where we were treated to an Elemis Super Food facial and use of the thermal spa.

On arrival I was greeted with a very friendly welcome, asked to fill a form in and was offered some water as my visit was during this epic heatwave the UK is currently grumbling about (we’re English, we drink tea and complain about the weather)

Every now and then you should treat yourself to a facial, not only do they do your skin a world of good but it’s also good for your mental health to just stop, relax and allow the professionals to work their magic.

The Beauty therapists at the spa experience were wonderful, so professional, extremely knowledgable and accommodating, they made the experience super relaxing, so much I could have fallen asleep.

Elemis Superfood Facial Description:

A nutritional boost, rich in superfoods and essential minerals designed to pack stressed, dull skin with energising, detoxifying actives. Clinically proven* to leave the skin plumper, radiant and lit up with good health. *Independent clinical trials.

At Spa Experience, Bethnal Green, the Elemis superfood facial is a 50 minute treatment costing between £60-70.

Our experience was kind of backwards but it couldn’t be helped due to my schedule I could only make it in the evenings. Once we had our superfood facial we changed into swim wear and headed into the thermal spa…..which kinda made our facials pointless but we thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

In the thermal spa we found a variety of hot and cold rooms, we had a browse about and selected the rooms we wanted to try, I started in the aroma therapy room. A steam room with aroma oils, it smelt amazing and oddly I found the steam refreshing in my lungs.

After 5 minutes in the steam room my curiosity got the better of me and I hopped in to the monsoon shower with scented water, it had two available options, Tanya hot the cold as I stepped in and my god was that a shock to the system, once the water had finished running I hit the hot button and it was probably the best shower I have ever had, well on the relaxation side anyway.

After a stint in the sauna and a breathe taking dip into the plunge pool our time was up, the spa was closing, but we thoroughly enjoyed our visit, we left feeling relaxed and refreshed it’s glowing skin.

The staff were all so pleasant, helpful and patient, the facilities were lovely, and oozed chill.

If your London based and in need of an affordable Spa treatment I would fully recommend visiting Spa Experience in Bethnal Green.
