The Rosé to drink this Summer

Summer is the perfect season, the day’s are longer with stunning blues skies, flowers bursting with colour, us ladies are in our summer dresses, and what a better way to relax in the summer is with a chilled glass of Rosé in hand.A couple weeks ago I was invited to All Bar One in Oxford street to meet wine makers Hecht & Bannier who had travelled from their home in France to introduce us to their beautiful wine and the process of the wine production that made their wine sustainable and organic. Myself and fellow bloggers were lucky enough to spend the evening sampling the wine and pairing foods available on All Bar One’s menu including the Vegan menu. The foods ranged from seafood, spiced chicken, cheese and spiced vegetable dishes, I was in my element with chilled rose in one hand and halloumi in the other..

Exclusive to All Bar One, Hecht & Banner’s Provence Rosé is refreshingly served chilled by tap. It is part of their sustainable wine range as the wine is certified organic and suitable for Vegans.Whilst it is not the first wine that’s available on tap it is pushing the eco-friendly message with the kegs the wine is stored in being 00% recycled. The wine itself comes from a variety of Grenache, cinsault, Syrah and Rolle and delivers hints of strawberries, Provençal herbs and a subtle inference of the sea, making it the ideal wine for summer. At 12.5% the wine, unfortunately, isn’t something you can buy of the shelf it is only available at All Bar One by the glass.
