What Abi wore: Medina Edition

When the time came to pack for my break to Spain, I probably did what we all do, dig out the holiday clothes to try on to make sure they fit still. It wasn’t until my favourite white denim shorts dropped back down to my ankles it dawned on me it’s been so long since my last holiday I have actually lost a stone in weight and dropped two dress sizes! so you know what that means, holiday shopping!

I don’t have the healthiest of bank balances so I couldn’t go on a full on shopping spree…she say’s…so top of my list was Primark. We all know that Primark clothing will do for a couple of months before it shrinks, lose shape and even fade in colour but because of the purse friendly prices we all love it. Primark didn’t disappoint and delivered ‘on trend’ items such as the striped jumpsuit featured above. Only £13, I fell in love with this jumpsuit at first sight, being short I have no luck with jumpsuits but this one features 3/4 length flared trousers so it had the perfect fit, what tops of the jumpsuit is the tie waist. Extremely comfortable, stylish and thin material for the summer heat.

This entire outfit from Primark cost just £18, the striped Bardot bodysuit is firm favourite of mine especially the tiny V feature in the neckline. The V has boning to support it so it stays up and in shape. The Stripes are angled down the sides so it has a really flattering fit to my shape an absolute steal for £6. I teamed the bodysuit up with black paper bag shorts and tan suede lace up flats.

I LOVE polka dots…especially on this bodysuit from Miss Selfridge, £25. I can’t explain it, I am obsessed with polka dots this bodysuit has an elastic neck line so I can be worn as a Bardot a short sleeve. looked fab with the paper bag shorts. A summer must have.

Trainers have become a staple in everyday fashion, trainers are no longer seen as sports only wear, these Adidas Nizza lo’s from JD Sports are a simplistic addition to any outfit. They have a plimsole look but weather proof so can be worn in any condition. These trainers are now my go to everyday footwear, they are comfortable and complete most of my outfits.

The key to body confidence by the pool is choosing the right swim wear, Hunkemöller have the perfect halter neck bikini’s that can give you that confidence, and this navy blue bikini did just that, the gold feature really completes the set for me.
