Over the past 6 months I have learnt how important it is to look after our hair, especially with the amount of stress and damage we put on it through dying and styling. I have been dying and curling my hair since I was 15 so you can imagine how damaged my hair could be and it didn’t really hit home until I started to experience severely dry hair and hair loss.
A little while ago Organic Shop sent me their Argan & Amla range to try, 100% cruelty free with natural products the Argan & Amla range was created to help restore and nourish damaged hair. Available as a shampoo, conditioner and hair mask all individually priced at £2.50 which is amazingly cheap for an organic product which contains no silicones or parabens.
With natural hair care products they work a little differently, you only require a small amount of shampoo and it doesn’t lather up as other known brands do so it is hard to tell if your hair is indeed getting the decent shampoo’ing it needs. After shampooing I use the conditioner leaving it in for a couple minutes and every Sunday evening i swap the conditioner out for the hair mask to give my hair a deeper condition.
After using the Argan & Alma hair range I have find my hair is looking healthier, soft and shines. If you are looking for a completely organic and natural hair care range that doesn’t have all the nasties I fully recommend Organic Shop, they have a whole range of hair care including a fruity and vitamin rich raspberry and açai selection.
