On September 17th I was invited along as press to fashions finest SS18 show as part of London Fashion Week, I was invited to attend both days but due to work I had to miss Saturday’s shows, which I was a little gutted about as the evening show was from The Princes Trust. The venue for the show, DeVere Grand Connaught Rooms in Holborn, was spectacular, incredibly beautiful and wasn’t too hard to find. I invited my friend and fellow blogger Tanya from GlamGlitzGloss to join me.
You will find some bloggers call themselves journalists and you will come across some who claim to be professional photographers but for me blogging is about sharing your experiences and knowledge, that is what I do, I share my experiences, I am not a professional writer, I am a qualified photographer but I’m certainly no professional. My blog is me and my adventures, so when Tanya and I were guided to the press area, a small raised platform for photographers and five chairs that had already been claimed we were a little confused, fortunately the audience for the first show was a little thin so I was able to take a seat and enjoy the show. The second show was a lot busier with a crazy amount of photographers, I was told I wasn’t allowed a seat and had to stay in the press area, it was a horrible experience. There were photographers who thought they owned the platform, some with major anger issues, other bloggers were seated on the floor and two guys decided to stand directly in front of me including another blogger who stood in most of my photos and videos, being just five foot I have never been elbowed in the head so much, I went home with such a migraine I lost vision in my right eye.
Despite the bustle of the second show, I still managed to appreciate the designers work, schedule below;

Despite the migraine and bruises I am completely appreciative and thankful of the opportunity to attend, for me it was a new experience, I captured some lovely photos, discovered such talented designers to follow and was lucky enough to share it all with Tanya.
