October 26th is the day I become another year older and another year wiser….well supposedly .. I will be twenty – something and even closer to the 30 mile stone sob! Being a October 26th baby makes me a Scorpio, the best sign to be in my eyes, so let’s break down a scorpios personality;
Strengths: Resourceful, brave, passionate, stubborn, a true friend
Weaknesses: Distrusting, jealous, secretive, violent
Scorpio likes: Truth, facts, being right, longtime friends, teasing, a grand passion
Scorpio dislikes: Dishonesty, revealing secrets, passive people
Those weaknesses! I would love to deny them all but I have them in me!
Distrusting, my mum raised me to trust nobody and to only rely on myself, I used to follow this to the word but after my therapy sessions I give people the benefit of the doubt but as soon as it’s broken it’s gone.
Jealousy, such an ugly trait! I can have a jealous streak in me but I’m very good at keeping it at bay…..it’s a lot easier to do when your single! Haha but if I am in a relationship jealousy comes in hand with trust, if I don’t trust you I will not be with you.
Secretive, I have suffered terribly with social anxiety so I tend to keep a lot to myself through fear of being judged or mocked. I very much Iike to keep to myself, there’s probably just the one or two people I share things with.
Violent, if anyone lays a finger on me, I will break that finger. I’m not one to start fights or arguments but I do end them if I find myself tangled up also I’m very protective of those I love.
Is being passionate a strength? I suppose in what way you see passionate as I’m a passionate lover, which can be a weakness but then I’m passionate about my work, my blog and other interests which is great so it could swing either way.
Annnnyywaaay let’s crack on with my birthday wish list!
I am in desperate need of a laptop for two reasons, firstly it would improve the quality of my blog as at the moment I depend on my iPad Pro, and the second reason, and you’ll think I’m mad, is so I can get some of my tasks from work done at home! I have so much on my plate at the moment and not enough hours in the office to complete it all! If I was to have a laptop I could give the time and focus some of my tasks need in the peacefulness of my room. If I had the cash I’d be getting myself a MacBook in Rose gold to match my iPad, so light to carry around, capable of running several programs at once and completely reliable.
I have been in my new room two weeks now, I am loving it but I am not loving the amount of light the Venetian blind let’s in! It doesn’t full close so people can still see in as well. As a migraine sufferer I need complete blackout in my room, so I have decided to look into blackout curtains, my room has white walls so I’m really liking the idea of having a white and silver themed room. The above curtains are from Dunelm.
3. Military Winter Coat
As you can tell from previous post I am obsessed with military style fashion, and currently with the temperature dropping I am need of a new winter coat…as I currently do not own one! The above coat is from Wallis, it’s gorgeous!
I loooove this perfume, it has a sweet scent that lasts for hours, but for £42 I’ll have to keep on wishing!
For Tanya’s birthday I bought her a Thomas Sabo bracelett and charm, and I must admit a little part of me wanted to keep it! So I’ve stuck it on the wish list!
Of course birthdays are not about gifts, I love a nice card and anything I wan I work hard for, I very much believe in whatever I deserve I earn! If I want something I will work hard to get it myself, this year I will celebrating my birthday with a handful of friends in the wetherspoons for food and drinks, nothing grand or special and I like it that way!
